18 Mar Ocean Monarch Loadout
AOS Tow Master, Capt. Lee Nott has recently completed the successful load-out operation of the Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig “Ocean Monarch” onto HLV Blue Marlin, offshore Adelaide, SA in preparation for dry tow to Singapore.
Capt. Lee Nott is no stranger to these big jobs, he was the Tow/Mooring Master representing McDermott on the Ichthys Central Process Facility (CPF) “Ichthys Explorer” and Ichthys FPSO “Ichthys Venture”. The CPF was the largest offshore mooring hook-up operation ever undertaken in the world. Not long after that Lee joined the Shell Prelude FLNG for the mooring hook-up and heading control phase.
Capt. Nott has completed over 150 rig move operations with AOS which include ultra-deep water anchors and pre-lay moorings, complex moorings over live infrastructure and Jack up rigs alongside gas platforms.
Keep up the good work Capt!
