Appointment of Managing Director

After over 40 years in key management positions in the offshore oil and gas industry, Ray Meadowcroft has made the decision to step down as AOS Managing Director. In consultation with the board, the decision was made to appoint Daniel Sweetman as Managing Director effective 1 February 2022.

Barkly Pearl Loadout

On the 8th of January 2021 AOS successfully loaded the Livestock Carrier “Barkly Pearl” onto the Heavy Lift Vessel (HLV) “Falcon”.

Indigenous Trainee Programmes

Australian Offshore Solutions (AOS) in collaboration with Aboriginal Management and Logistics (AML) is currently implementing Indigenous specific trainee programmes for Deck Cadets, Engineer Cadets and Integrated Ratings.

AOS remain focused on gender diversity and advancing women’s participation in the Oil & Gas industry. The number of women in senior positions at AOS continues to rise as the company aims to promote gender diversity in our industry which is traditionally dominated by men.

Ocean Monarch Loadout

AOS Tow Master, Capt. Lee Nott has recently completed the successful load-out operation of the Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig “Ocean Monarch” onto HLV Blue Marlin, offshore Adelaide, SA in preparation for dry tow to Singapore.

Ongoing Marine Manning and Catering Services for Fugro

AOS are continuing our long standing partnership with Fugro for the provision of marine crew and catering services. AOS are engaged by Fugro to provide full marine crew including deck officers, marine engineers, deck crew and crane operator. AOS also provide a full catering service including supply of provisions, menu planning and professional chefs and catering crew all based on an agreed daily budget.
